"Hello! I am Jillian Hansen, the current Kindergarten School Counselor. This is my 7th year here at PVE. Prior to coming to Pleasant Valley, I was a school counselor for the East Stroudsburg Area School District for four years. I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years and am a Licensed Behavioral Specialist. Currently I am working on my LPC and advancing my knowledge in the field of counseling. I am excited to continue to work with your children as they progress through PVE. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to you and your family."

"Hi! I'm Katie Everson, and I’m excited to be the 1st Grade School Counselor here at PVE. This is my second year in the Pleasant Valley School District, and I’m excited to be back in Pennsylvania! Before joining PVE, I spent three years as an Elementary School Counselor in Roanoke City Public Schools. I’ve also worked as a Therapeutic Day Treatment Counselor in a variety of school settings, and as a Family Engagement Coordinator at a group home for teenage girls. I look forward to getting to know your child and partnering with you to ensure a happy, healthy, and successful school year. "I am excited to begin the school year, and working with second grade. This will be the start of my twelfth year in Pleasant Valley School District. Prior to beginning at PVE, I served as a school counselor at the high school for eight years. I attended Moravian College (now University) majoring in education and psychology. After graduating, I completed seven years as a classroom teacher prior to completing my M.Ed in school counseling at Lehigh University. I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters and traveling as often as we are able to."
